Our story
We believe that migrants arrive with a strong determination to begin a new life, and to start right. However, just like us, many underestimate the challenges that lie ahead, particularly in finding employment. That’s why we created People Power Services. We are proud to be built on the talents of African Australians who migrated as refugees. We wanted to create employment opportunities for those who have walked in our shoes and need a lift up to start rebuilding their lives in Australia. As a social enterprise, our profits are invested in delivering outcomes that support the integration of refugees and disadvantaged migrant communities into the Australian multicultural society. Since we started in 2010 with six trainees and ten employees, dozens of people have used PPS as a stepping stone to becoming proud and grateful contributors to the Australian community and economy.
